Suwarudo version 0.2
Suwarudo recieved a big update. An overworld is now featured in the game, although very minimal, it'll show sort of what the future may hold. You can talk to npc's and challenge different ones with different difficulties. The UI is much more friendly, and the confusion of what the heck to do should be much smaller than before.
A tutorial has been implemented to learn a bit about the game before throwing oneself in the face of opponents.
The battle gameplay has also been updated quite a bit. The collision physics was a bit messed up before. You flew directions you weren't supposed to at all, which could result in clipping through enemies. This has been fixed.
Damage has been optimised to make it a bit more fun ( I have a feeling that damage will be updated many times ) The way that damage works now is that only one player will damage the other, and it is simply based on who does the most damage: When two swords collide, damage for both is calculated, considering movement speed, attack stat, defense stat and weight stat. The sword that does the most damage will deal their damage, and take none. This is to avoid situations where players will refuse to attack, because they have lost too much health already.
Finally: Additional powers has been added! If your 'base' swordpart has an element, you will get the power of that element. Those that have been added:
Grass: An amount of projectiles, based on the player's attack and health stat, will home after the enemy.
Ice: Remove friction from the enemy, making it easier to knock them out of the arena, but this will also make them faster. Friction removed is scaled with knockback stat, but countered by enemy weight stat.
Lightning: Dash through all enemies, damaging them if you pass through them, without risk of getting damaged yourself. Distance and speed is scaled with speed stat, damage is scaled with attack and speed stat.
Rock: Defense, Weight, and Knockback stats will be doubled, friction will be maximized over a short duration. A short instance at the beginning of the ability, all those stats will be halved, so time it right and you may damage your enemy with your impenetrable defense. Time it poorly and you will be punished severely.
